Movie Madness

Movie MadnessMovie Madness is a FileMaker database and FMTouch App for tracking the movies you own, watch, and wish for. It runs on your computer and now on your iPhone and iPod Touch!

Key features of Movie Madness include:

• rate movies from 0 to 5 stars in 1/2 star increments
• collect data about your movies from the internet
• add images of DVD cases or movie posters
• show a list of related movies which share the same actors, directors, or genres
• export your movie list as web pages View My Movie List

On the iPhone and iPod Touch you are able to:

• add, edit and delete records
• rate movies from 0 to 5 stars in 1/2 star increments
• edit the values used to specify Format (Blu-ray, DVD, etc.) and Status (Owned, Watched, etc.)
• view web pages based on a title search using IMDB, Blu-ray.com, and Amazon
• jump out to Safari to view the web page where you can save an image
• insert an image for the movie that you saved from the web or took with the iPhone camera
• send an email to a friend with a PDF of the current record attached

There are four layouts for the iPhone: -Movies, -Format, -Status, and -About

              

On your computer using FileMaker 8.5, 9, 10, and 11 you are also able to:

• quickly view web pages based on a title search using IMDB, Blu-ray.com, and Amazon
• jump out to Safari to view the web page where you can save an image
• insert an image for the movie that you saved from the web
• "scrape" data from the web to gather information about the movie: Genre, Director, Actors, and the Theater and Media Release Dates
• show a list of related movies which share the same actors, directors, or genres
• export your movie collection as a series of web pages, grouping them according to the Status values that you assign
